QUIRKY

To say the least.  Maybe some deserve captions.

Lighting a cigar down there wasn't the best idea in the world.

Leafy hairdo

Whoo!  Dat big foot!

Come in!  Don't stand out there knocking!

Here, I'll give you a hand up.

Oh, this line is a bit too long.

JEWISH HAIKU

Beyond Valium,
peace is knowing one's child
is an internist.

On Passover we
opened the door for Elijah.
Now our dog is gone.

After the warm rain
the sweet smell of camellias.
Did you wipe your feet?

Today I am a man
Tomorrow I will return
to the seventh grade.

Testing the warm milk
on her wrist, she sighs softly
But her son is forty.

  1. I have no comment but I'll share a non-Jewish Haiku:
    (ahem--clearing throat)

    Tattooed men and boys
    Waiting for the magistrate
    All guilty, I say.

I composed that years ago, but am still very proud. I live near the courthouse so I think of it often. Sorry if it's off the Jewish theme.
