Scenery, flowers, and a couple of, um, different ones.  A couple of captions.

I’m not azh think azh you drunk I am.

 You a taxi?  I need a ride.

Fun -

A woman wrote into Click and Clack, saying that she and her husband were on vacation in California, and had rented a Prius to visit Yosemite National Park.  She was concerned that there seemed to be no way to downshift while navigating the steep, winding roads, and that she didn’t want to use the Fred Flintstone braking method.  Why not?  It would ruin her shoes!

Fortunately, she was told that auto has built-in methods to gear down.

  1. That first one--cone you beleaf it?

  2. I have a bag of pine nuts in my kitchen cupboard (Thank you Tesco). I only ever seen pine cones brown and on the path. I'd love to see them green. Maybe I should look harder.

  3. Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. Any way I'll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you post again soon.

  4. Hi, D.F. I try to post 6 times a week, and take Sunday off. It's all manner of stuff -- scenery, animals, personal happenings, funny and/or interesting stuff. If you'd like to see something most unusual, in the right column click on 2011, March, and then the third one down. I'd love to hear your comment.
