HOUSE (?) PAINTER

Not at all your typical house (and other facades) painter, as you will see.

A typical concrete and stucco facade.

This is Eric, in his  element, 30' off the ground. He does most  of the artwork by himself and researches,
paints and designs each project from scratch.  His wife Kathy,  also an artist, serves as project manager.
The wall starts to take on a 3 dimensional appearance.

Finished  product.

Before  photo - Great American Crossroad - Bucyrus, Ohio

After photo. That's the side of a building?

Not very pretty place to paint

Well, we will fix that!

Um, that does look somewhat better.  Hard to  believe you're looking at a flat 2-dimensional wall.

PHONE CALLS TO A TRAVEL AGENT

A disgruntled lady asked, "Do airlines put your physical description on your bag so they know whose luggage belongs to whom?" I said, "No, why do you ask?"  She replied, "Well, when I checked in with the airline, they put a tag on my luggage that said ‘FAT’, and I'm overweight. I think that's very rude!"  After putting her on hold for a minute while I “looked into it”  (I was laughing) I came back and explained the city code for Fresno, CA, is “FAT”, and the airline was just putting a destination tag on her luggage.

A budget-watcher, after going over all the cost information on a travel package to Hawaii, asked, "Would it be cheaper to fly to California, and then take the train to Hawaii?"

A man called from the airport. "How do I know which plane to get on?" I asked him what exactly he meant, to which he replied, "I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these darn planes have numbers on them."

  1. Greg Brown is our local version of that painter. Amazing work, both of them.
