CHILDREN’S LETTERS TO GOD

Dear God, Did you mean for giraffes to look like that or was it an accident?  Norma

Dear God, In bible times, did they really talk that fancy?  Jennifer

Dear God, How come you did all those miracles in the old days and don't do any now?  Billy

Dear God, Please send Dennis Clark to a different summer camp this year.  Peter

Dear God, Maybe Cain and Abel would not kill each other so much if they each had their own rooms. It works out OK with me and my brother. Larry

Dear God, I keep waiting for spring, but it never did come yet. What's up? Don't forget.  Mark

  1. Beautiful!

When we were traveling once when I was a kid we walked through a glorious park somewhere with flowering trees above (not flowering in the summer, but still) and waterlilies in bloom in the water in rock-lined --ponds, for lack of a more specific man-made word. But like the one in the picture, long and rectangle and made for walking beside. Never forgot the place. Maybe in Washington State? I don't know.

  2. Truly lovely all. It's been a while since I've been to a formal garden. Must make a day trip to one soon. No, not Japan, but even the local ones are nice.

  3. Very beautiful. Looking at these photos and imagining being there in person is very relaxing. Isn't there a formal garden like this around here somewhere?
