LUXEMBOURG, OUTSIDE THE PALACE

Luxembourg, has been able to preserve its monuments, Churches, monasteries and its ancient quarters, in the middle of an exceptional natural environment.  Part of the territory is covered by forests.

The Cathedral

Inside the Cathedral

Typical winding street

Narrow street at night

Ah, cobblestones

But in addition to the beautiful capital, Luxembourg has other wonderful tourist destinations, such as the city of Echternach, where it is possible to enjoy outstanding historical and artistic patrimony surrounded with forests.

Humor --

A woman goes to the post office to buy some stamps for her Christmas cards. She says to the clerk, “May I have 50 Christmas stamps, please?”  The clerk says, “What denomination?” The woman says, “God help us. Has
it come to this? Okay, give me 6 Catholic, 12 Presbyterian, 10 Lutheran,  and 22 Baptist.”
