FROM ABOVE (mostly)

We had to get out of the ocean, at least for a while.  These photos are from above ground, and in some cases, way above ground.

Mount Rainier casting a shadow on clouds

The Irish Sky Garden crater

Sunset eclipse.  You need to look closely to see that the moon is blocking the sun.
Or at least, I did.

Above the canopy.  A tree on steroids

Aurora australis (southern lights) from space

Mount Kilimanjaro from above. That's an interesting nice round hole at the top.
Alien landing strip?

Felix Baumgartner jumps from 71,580 feet.
Not something I'd care to do.

The most incredible aurora of 2012

Bora Bora from space
Great place to snorkle.  Down there, I mean.

Fun --

~ Don't worry about what people think; they don't do it very often.

~ Going to a church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

~ It isn't the jeans that make your butt look fat.

  1. Wow. Those are so gorgeous. Wow.

You won't see me jumping out of a perfectly good airplane anytime soon, though.
