BEAUTY IS WHERE YOU FIND IT

How about beautiful golf courses?  Someone sent me a series of photos, and I only thought it fair to share them with you.  I don’t know where these are, but a couple have cacti, which would give a pretty good clue.

  1. Now what they need to do is plunk a few pecan trees right in the center of those greens. The squirrels can't get to them because there's too much open-space hawk territory between them and the food. Ah nuts!

  2. I've said for a while that the American golf course had a distinctive wild vs. manicured style. My dad visited the Irish courses and said "it's all rough."

Beautiful pics, BTW. The fareway and greens are perfect parkland and there's the nature framing it.

  3. I have never understood the appeal of golf, but Ron has always argued that aside from all the exercise he gets walking the course, the scenery was always so beautiful...the photos are nice but I still don't get the appeal of golf!
