SCENIC LAKES, part one

Lakes around the world are in many different scenic settings. For example, try these – –

I don't know where this is.

This is a chilly setting in Alaska.

 Welcome to Georgia.

And here we are in jolly old England.

Wisconsin can brag about this body of water.

Here we are in San Francisco, at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park.

We are still in Golden Gate Park, and at the Japanese tea garden.

Crater Lake is in the state of Oregon. That's Wizard Island decorating the landscape.

Funny stuff, or maybe the youngsters have it right --

PROVERBS AND CHILDREN

The first grade school teacher had twenty-five students in her class. She presented each child with the first half of a well-known proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb. Keep in mind that these are first graders, 6-year-olds.

Don't change horses.. until they stop running

Strike while the..... bug is close

It's always darkest before...Daylight Saving Time

Never underestimate the power of .... termites

You can lead a horse to water but ..... how?

Don't bite the hand that .... looks dirty

No news is....impossible

A miss is as good as a .... Mr.
