BABIES

Here are all sorts of young ones. Cliff and I had a good time  guessing what some of these animals are. We would make a guess and then I would go hunting on Google images. Some we really knew.

We're pretty sure that this is a baby Aardvark.

Proud parents of a newborn colt.

Cliff convinced me that this is a member of the squirrel family. I did find
a similar photo in baby squirrels.

Baby giraffe – – no kidding!

We came to the conclusion that these are chinchillas. Anyone else have an opinion?

 Can't sleep without my pet.

 Oooh, we love bananas!

Just 'cause we are sloths doesn't mean we're lazy.

 Where's my dinner?

Do these count as babies? Maybe not yet.

But these open mouths certainly do!

 Humor – –

**My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

He has a mind like a steel trap. It just hasn't caught anything yet.

** There is a difference between knowledge and intelligence. For example, recognizing that a tomato is not a vegetable but a fruit, is knowledge. Knowing not to put it in a fruit salad is intelligence.

Not sure those are, but they may be.

  3. I've just come across this page via a Google search for baby squirrels. For those who are curious, the unidentified animals are a pygmy possum (easily mistaken for a 'fat dormouse' but note the tail width), and a mara with its baby.
